Chief Garrett Grogan reports that the Patterson Police Department responded to 5 calls for service over the last 24 hours and made the following arrest: 

Sherlock Levison, 57, Patterson, La, was arrested on April 29, 2026, at 1:39pm, on several warrants for the Patterson Police Department for failure to appear on the charges of no motor vehicle inspection, no license plate, no registration (#743979), no license plate, failure to carry registration, expired motor vehicle inspection (#743798), stop sign violation (#745444), and improper lane usage (#746363). Levison was booked, processed, and released to appear in Mayor's Court.

Darius Preston, 27, Patterson, La, was arrested on April 29, 2026, at 3:07pm, on two (2) warrants for the Patterson Police Department on the charges of domestic abuse battery-child endangerment-2 counts, theft, and violation of protective order. Bail has not been set at this time.
